TRASH & RECYCLING
TRASH:
WBMD provides two trash dumpsters that are emptied twice a week. These dumpsters are for resident use only and are not for:
- Business-related trash
- Contractor trash
- Slash
Please refer to the Trash Policy and Info page linked below for more details. There you will find:
- "Ask Eartha" from High County Conservation Center can answer questions about where to bring car batteries, light bulbs, medical waste, chemicals and pains. A link to Eartha is provided.
- Summit County Resource Allocation Park/SCRAP, aka "the dump/landfill", 2026 rules and fees. There they accept yard waste, construction waste, appliances (check website and rules sheet!)
RECYCLING:
WBMD provides a recycling dumpster. With that, there are restrictions on what can be recycled that is picked up by a truck. If you would like to recycle other items, you may need to go to a county drop off center.
Please refer to our Recycling Info page linked below for more details. There you will find:
- A link to High Country Conservation's "Recycling Robot" for all recycling questions.
- A link provided to download the 04/2026 High Country Conservation Recycling Poster.
